Speed Dating FAQ

What type of person goes to a Speed Dating event?

There is no specific type of person who goes but experience has shown us that the vast majority tend to be professional singles who  just don’t get the chance to meet new people outside of their work circle. However, one thing for sure is that everyone is single, lives near you and and is looking to find a new boyfriend or girlfriend.

What happens if I am outside the event age range?

The age ranges are set as guidelines so you are welcome to join in provided you are close to the age range limits. You may find you get less matches as the other daters are most likely to be looking for someone in the age range they have signed up too.

Is there a dress code?

There is no fixed dress code at most speed dating events, but please remember that you are out to make a good impression, so smart casual is always a good option.

How long does an event last?

A typical event in London will start at 7:30pm or 8pm and runs to approximately 10pm with a twenty minute half time refreshment break.

Why do I need to book in advance?

A speed dating evening works best when there is an even balance of men and women and also by booking in advance, the event will not be overbooked.

How will I know if I get any matches?

After attending a London Speed Dating event, and entering your ticks, you will be able to see how many people have entered their ticks, how many have ticked you and who has matched with you.
